# Outposts & Cryoboxes

## <mark style="color:orange;">What are Outposts?</mark>

If you have saved up enough Resources you will be able to purchase an [Outpost](https://thefracture.fandom.com/wiki/Outposts). The more resources you obtain, the higher level Outpost you will be to build. The Utility of owning an Outpost will be producing Vials. The key component of the Bridged upgrade.

## <mark style="color:orange;">What are Cryoboxes?</mark>

Outposts can generate Cryobox NFTs. Different levels of Outpost generate Cryoboxes at different output rates. The output rates are shown below. Each successfully generated Cryobox is guaranteed to contain a Vial. Cryoboxes can be obtained through secondary marketplaces [here](https://magiceden.io/marketplace/cryoboxes).

## <mark style="color:orange;">What are Vials?</mark>

Cryoboxes are NFTs that Outpost owners can generate and either use or trade. Here's the fun bit, Cryoboxes will contain unrevealed Vials, meaning not every Vial is the same. There will be tiers of vials; some may even be legendary vials... Make of that what you will. Vials are on secondary marketplaces [here](https://magiceden.io/marketplace/ixarus_vials).
